Ram Navami and Pingala Nadi

Ram Navami and Pingala Nadi

SuryaVanshi Shree Ram and the Breath of Pingla.

One of the most important Hindu festivals, Ram Navami commemorates the birth of Lord Sri Ram. As per the lunar calendar, Ram Navami falls on the ninth day (Navami) of the Shukla paksha in the month of Chaitra.

As per the Vedic science of Swar Yog, our left breath is connected to the lunar energy and our right brain, while the right breath is connected with the solar energy and the left brain. Lord Ram, who was also known as Maryada Purushottam, was a Surya Vanshi by lineage, a lineage connected with the Sun or the Solar energy.

As per Ramayan, when Rishi Vishwamitra was conducting a Yagya in a forest, and that is when Asurs arrived to disturb and disrupt the Yagya. He then requested King Dashrath to send his son Shri Ram to deal with the Asurs, so that the Yagya could be completed successfully.

In our daily lives, we too face situations where we are trying to focus on doing something meaningful and we tend to get distracted. The Asur energies within us distract us from achieving our goals. Whenever we try to focus on a task and are unable to do so if we activate our right breath, our solar energy and the left brain get activated, and with the blessings of Shri Ram, we would be able to focus better and attain our desired outcome very well.
